IPv6 Activities
NIXI has taken up a number of steps to encourage IPv6 activities in the country. These include:
- Setting up parallel IPv6 Exchange Routers in Mumbai and Delhi Exchange points and dual stack router in Mumbai, Delhi(Noida), Chennai and Bangalore.
- Hands-on training on IPv6 configuration, in association with APNIC. Two training workshops have been held, in Delhi(64 KB) (PDF file that opens in a new window)

- IPv6 & IRME training organised by NIXI, ISPAI and APNIC in Bangalore(64 KB) (PDF file that opens in a new window) (23-25 March, 2009) and Hyderabad(68 KB) (PDF file that opens in a new window) (26-28 March, 2009).
- NIXI has sponsored free of cost training program to 115 engineers across the country for IPV6 online training which include virtual labs for hands on training in association with NIIT(107 KB) (PDF file that opens in a new window)
